We’re keeping it Nordic for another week with The Radio Dept. from Sweden. You Could Be The One is the b-side to the bands cover of the Tri-Lites ‘You’re Looking At My Guy’, released at the beginning of July.
‘You Could Be The One’ is the definition of sadboy dream pop, get yourself a lukewarm pint and find a patch of muddy grass and get transported into 2020’s nonexistent festival season with this song.
After featuring a more electronic sound on their last album ‘Running Out Of Love’, the Radio Dept have found their way back to the indie/guitar lead sound they started out with. The addition of horns really sets ‘You Could Be The One’ apart.
Instead of an album, the band are releasing a collection of singles throughout the year. So get ready to hear a lot more from these guys.
For fans of: Mac DeMarco, Gengahr, Tame Impala
