Live Review – Bludfest year 2

Words by Grace Minghella Despite being one of the hottest days of the year so far, the weather wasn’t the only thing hot at Milton Keynes Bowl. I started my day by exploring the festival grounds and seeing everything Bludfest year two had to offer, such as a skatepark in “YUNGBLUD Village”, a pop-up shop to celebrate the release of Yungblud’s brand new album IDOLS, … Continue reading Live Review – Bludfest year 2

For Everybody Going Through Tough Times – Mr Worldwide Has You Covered

Words and Images by Izzy Oxley. For all who are going through rough patches, believe me, been there, done that. The one and only Pitbull has returned to bless the UK with 2 electrifying nights at the O2. If you are lucky enough to be walking the same soil as he does tonight, expect to cross paths with bald-capped, suit-wearing flurries of fans on your … Continue reading For Everybody Going Through Tough Times – Mr Worldwide Has You Covered

Live Review: Pan Amsterdam At The Jazz Cafe, London

Words: Fin Harrison / Images: Elizabeth Lenthall It’s Wednesday the 4th of June, and as the interior of Camden’s famous Jazz Cafe begins to fill up, the excitement in the room is paired with a sense of intrigue. A week on from the release of his otherworldly-sounding new LP, ‘Confines’, experimental rapper, singer and jazz trumpeter Pan Amsterdam (Leron Thomas) is finally bringing his project … Continue reading Live Review: Pan Amsterdam At The Jazz Cafe, London

Live Review – Primavera Sound Barcelona 2025

Right then. Let’s get this straight. My sunburn is just starting to peel, a flaky reminder of three days spent under a relentless Barcelona sun. That, a tote bag full of Schwarzkopf products, a freshly customised Levi’s tee, and a €100 Vueling voucher are the main souvenirs from my annual pilgrimage to Primavera Sound. The voucher was just pure, random luck. It’s a pretty perfect summary of the Primavera experience: a chaotic, slightly absurd collision of corporate presence and raw joy. Behind the shots: James Bay – 13/02/25

Words and photography by Grace Minghella Love was in the air already the night before valentines day at James Bay’s sold out show in Wembley. The show was a truly memorable experience. From the second he stepped on stage opening with “Up All Night,” he had the crowd completely captivated and singing along, almost as loudly as him. His vocals were as powerful and emotive … Continue reading Behind the shots: James Bay – 13/02/25

Sunflowers, Soul-Baring, and Song: Caity Baser’s Emotional Rebirth

Words and images by Keira Oldfield In April, Caity Baser melted hearts at The Dome, London. From the moment she stepped onto the stage; she captured every soul in the room with her raw voice and piano that weaved a spell of vulnerability. It was a moment that encapsulated the newly expressed shift in her music – a journey from catchy hooks to heart-wrenching honesty. As she performed tracks from her latest … Continue reading Sunflowers, Soul-Baring, and Song: Caity Baser’s Emotional Rebirth

Live Review – Coachella 2025: Weekend 1

Stepping out of the air-conditioned hire car into the Indio heat is the first culture shock of Coachella – a world away from damp UK fields. Then you see the sheer scale of it, the iconic Ferris wheel shimmering in the distance, and the anticipation truly hits. It’s a proper city built for music in the middle of nowhere.  Continue reading Live Review – Coachella 2025: Weekend 1

LIVE REVIEW: Kids Return at KOKO

Words: Fin Harrison On a tranquil Wednesday evening in early April, Parisian indie-pop duo Kids Return step up to the stage at the iconic KOKO venue in the heart of Camden. It’s their second visit to the English capital in the last month, having supported their Ekler/Hamburger Records label-mates Polo & Pan at a sold-out Roundhouse back in March. The duo, which is composed of … Continue reading LIVE REVIEW: Kids Return at KOKO

Live Review – Olly Alexander at The London Palladium

It feels like ages since I’ve properly sat down to write a review. You can start to feel a bit pushed aside, you know? So, heading to the iconic London Palladium for the final night of Olly Alexander’s ‘Up Close and Polari’ tour felt like a welcome return, maybe even mirroring Olly’s own step into the solo spotlight.
