NoizePlant presents: Gender Crisis, The Waterfalls, Menaura + Andrew Wild

Student promoters NoizePlant have announced a show for Wednesday, March 30 at the Half Moon Putney. The night will feature Andrew Wild, Menaura, Gender Crisis, The Waterfalls and cost £6 in advance, £8 on the door. 

Andrew Wild is an up-and-coming indie funk and soul-pop artist who combines songwriting and arranging techniques of the past with modern sonic landscaping to create a sound that is both fresh and nostalgic.

The Waterfalls are a four-piece band from London, made up of lead singer Aaron Wong, drummer Daniel Chitra, guitarist Owen Tucknott, and bassist Ben Abbott. Playing a vibrant mix of hard rock, indie, and bedroom pop. So far, the band has released eight singles and a five-song EP, with songs featuring on BBC Radio 6 and ITV’s ‘This Morning’.

Menaura currently consists of Diana Opiela on vocals and keys, Douglas Runebjörk on vocals and guitar, Elio Prota on guitar, Kristin Hille-Krumsvik on bass, and James Rampton on drums. They mix Scandinavian atmospheric music with traditional English shoegaze and their songs cover topics such as alienation, nostalgia, loneliness, and theologically aware uranium atoms.

Gender Crisis is a punky upcoming post-hardcore band from Buckinghamshire full of attitude and buzzing with energy, whose grunge-y yet punk-inspired tracks promise to fill the whole atmosphere with dance energy.
