As part of Somerset House’s 2024 Summer Series, British rockers The Amazons aced the outdoor stage. LDN resident photographer Izzy headed down to the photo pit to capture their iconic set.
Having seen The Amazons a few years ago, I was thrilled to be granted the opportunity to photograph them at Somerset House, on the south side of the Strand overlooking the River Thames. Formed in Reading and together since school, The Amazons have worked hard to grow in the live industry, supporting bands such as Greta Van Fleet, Imagine Dragons, and Royal Blood, and headlining standout venues like The Roundhouse as part of their HWIKIHWFM (How Will I Know If Heaven Will Find Me?) tour and the O2 Academy Brixton as part of their Future Dust tour.
But how will their live show translate to this impressive Renaissance setting? Flick through the full gallery below to find out.
